Is it possible with the RadAsyncUpload, for the user to drag and drop a folder in the area.  Then the uploaded folder is zipped while it is uploaded?

Hello Ray,

The RadAsyncUpload does not support folder drag and drop and zipping functionality. I can suggest logging this as a feature request in our Feedback Portal.
