Hello,

First, let me say I am new to the Telerik family, and I absolutely am in love with the controls!  I purchased them last week, immediately after going thru some of the tutorials in the Telerik Trainer, and I sure hope you have more of these wonderful and handy tutorials on the way!  HUGE plus for me, and the reason why I changed my mind over buying 'the other guy'.

Let me appologize in advance if this does actually appear on a previous thread, but the searches I did turned up nothing concerning the newest controls.

Anyway, my question is on the RAD window, and how it displays the RAD Editor in IE:

I have a RAD Window opening from a page we'll call "default.aspx" to show a new page that includes a RAD Editor.  When I have animations assigned to the RAD window (utilizing the RADWindowManager), the Image Manager in the editor appears transparent over the "default.aspx" page in IE (so it is impossible to use).  This does not happen in FF or Safari or Chrome, JUST in Internet Explorer.  If I remove the animations, then the editor does act as expected in IE.

Is there a work around for this?

I am using RadControls_for_ASP.NET_AJAX_2009_1_402_dev which I believe to be the most current version of the controls.  I have tested in both IE7 and IE8 with the same results.  It should be noted that I am also using the "Inherits Telerik.Web.UI.RadAjaxPage" on the "default.aspx" code behind vb page as I am deploying this in a medium Trust environment, although that does not appear to be the issue.

Thank you for your time,

Susan

Hello Susan,

Thank you for the nice words - we really appreciate it.
As for the problem itself, we discovered it shortly after the Q1 SP1 release and it has already been fixed in our internal builds. If you want, you could download the latest internal build from your Client.Net account or as an alternative - to turn the animation off until SP2 is officially released.

Sincerely yours,
