Hi,

We are using RAD Editor for SharePoint version 6.1.7 in SharePoint 2010, after editing the content using some formatting from the toolbar working fine.

But especially with the dropdown values after formatting when the cursor is at the formatted text, If the dropdown (ex. Font Name) that is selected is wrapping on to the next line instead of truncating within the dropdown

This behaviour is not happeing in v 5.3.2 when used within the 2007 Environment

Attaching the screenshot of 5.3.2 and 6.1.7 versions

Thanks

Hello Roopesh,

You have some global CSS class for SPAN, A, UL or LI elements that is breaking the appearance of the dropdowns. Please examine your stylesheet and fix this style.

Kind regards,

Hi Roopesh,

I examined the provided screenshot, but the provided information is not enough to pinpoint the problem.

Is it possible to provide a live URL to the problematic page? If the site is not accessible in Internet, you can save the whole page with its CSS and HTML files (File -> Save As -> WebPage, complete) and send it via a support ticket. Than I will be able to load it in my browser, reproduce the problem and examine it with FireBug or IE Developer toolbar.

Best regards,

As you have requested attaching the HTML files along with the downloaded CSS and it's related information.

Please go through and let me know your findings

Hi Rumen,

More updates the feature working fine in Fire Fox, meaning Ellipses is working within the dropdown.

Hi Roopesh,

I was able to reproduce the problem only when there is a JavaScript error on the page as shown in the following video: http://screencast.com/t/O7CMbJ0i5ysL. Could you please check the page with RadEditor for any JS errors?

The solution that you can try is to import the following CSS class in the page with RadEditor:

.reDropdown span { height: 20px\9; }

You can see which CSS files are imported in the page in IE developer toolbar and put the above class in one of them.
