Hi Stéphane,

RadEditor for MOSS should work on a 64 big version of MOSS. The editor is compiled for a 32 bit .NET Framework and since the 64 bit .NET Framework is backwards compatible with it, then the editor should work properly.

Hi all,

I installed RadEditor on a farm with 2 front-end servers in 64 bits. The editor work great on publishing pages but does not appear when I edit list items. I tried to deactivate/activate the feature but it does not change anything...

On my development server 32 bits it works great, for publishing page and for list items.

Has anyone encountered the same problem ? Does anyone know a way to avoid the problem ?

Thanks in advance for your answer :)

My config
  • RadEditor :4.5.6.0
  • MOSS Standard SP2
  • 2 front-end servers, Windows 2008 64 bits
  • 1 server for index and central admin, Windows 2008 64 bits
  • 1 SQL Server, Windows 2008 64bits, SQL Server 2008 64 bits

Hi Tom-i,

You need to make sure that the first time you activate a RadEditor feature, you must be logged as an Administrator user. After you activate the feature in list scenario perform an iisreset command as well.
