Hi

I have downloaded RadEditor version 5.8.4 (RadEditorMOSS_5_8_4_Trial (1).zip) for MOSS 2007. I tried to deploy it on my Sharepoint Server 2007 with 64 bit processor, but it is not working fine.
Both the the Publishing HTML content and the Multiline list (Enhanced HTML) content is showing the RadEditor bar but the entire column becomes uneditable. Also data in the column vanishes.
Has anyone else faced this issue?

Thanks
Deepti

Hello Deepti,

Could you confirm that you correctly extended your MOSS site with ASP.NET AJAX. You can find information on the mater in the following online help articles:
Extending your MOSS site with Microsoft ASP.NET AJAX 1.0 - for .NET 2.0
or
Extending your MOSS site with Microsoft ASP.NET AJAX 3.5  - for .NET 3.5

All the best,

Hi Stanimir

Thanks. ajax was not configured on the server. I have done it now and it seems to be working fine.

One more thing. I do not see the control to directly edit the html  in the toolbar. It used to be a part of the RadEsitor version 4.56. Can you cofirm that this has been removed and that there is no issues in the way i have installed it. Also if it has been removed can you give some infomation about if it will be added back.

Thanks
Deepti

Hi Deepti,

Could you confirm that you are asking about the button which I marked in the following screen shot http://screencast.com/t/CR0cLeP8?

You can control the editing modes of RadEditor by setting the EditModes property in the respective ConfigFile.xml or ListConfigFile.xml (Set Properties Via Config File).
<property name="EditModes">Design,Html,Preview</property>
