Hi there

I have some questions to get off my chest that have been bugging us here for a while now, as we have recently learnt that RadControls for ASP.NET has now been cut off, i was wondering if you could answer a few questions for us...

When we see ASP.NET AJAX we are put into the beleif that all the controls contain AJAX (on the fly) and so this will cause our application to fail its accessibility compliance, is this the case or have we just misunderstood the point and that we only fail when we use the Ajax radControl, and the other controls are exactly the same as the ASP.NET controls (with added useful features)

Hope to hear from you soon

Regards

Ahmed

Hello Ahmed,

RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX are based on the Microsoft ASP.NET AJAX framework, which means for example that their client API follows the MS ASP.NET AJAX conventions. However, no AJAX functionality is "enforced" in these controls by default and their accessibility is by no means worse than the accessibility of the old RadControls for ASP.NET.

You can find information about the accessibility compliance of the new ASP.NET AJAX controls here:
