I am trying to incorporate Telerik 2009.3.1314.35 for use on my Moss 2007 site. I've gotten this to work with a previous .35 version but for some reason in my C:\windows\assembly folder I see something called 'Telerik.Web.UI.VSX' in addition to the expected 'Telerik.Web.Design'. Normally I would just see 'Telerik.Web.UI' and the 'Telerik.Web.Design'. But as I'm trying to follow along with this guide Extending your MOSS site with Microsoft ASP.NET AJAX 3.5' , I dont see any mention of the .vsx extension. The strange thing is that my Telerik.Web.Design has a version number of 2009.3.1314.35 but the Telerik.Web.UI.VSX has a version number of 2009.3.1314.0. Should I just download the 2009.3.1314.35 from the site and manually add the Telerik.Web.UI assembly if its there?

Since Q1 2009, the RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX installer includes Visual Studio Extensions - a Visual Studio integration package, aiding the creation/modification/upgrade of projects/websites, using RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX. The main assembly of the integration package is the Telerik.Web.UI.VSX assembly. There should be the Telerik.VSX and Telerik.VSX.Controls assemblies in the GAC too. As the VSExtensions are not .NET Framework dependent, the version ends with 0.
Another thing to mention is that the installer does not add the Telerik.Web.UI assembly automatically to the GAC. Please, add it manually instead.
