    Hello Telerik and Telerik Developers,

I have been dreaming of a product for years, and I think Telerik would be the ideal company to develop it.  I would like to see a product that manages and makes use of the Profiles, Memberships and Users in

Here is a list and description of each component that would be required in the suite.

    ·         User/Profile/Membership Manager

o   Use the Profile/User DataControl to connect to SQL database

o   Has smart tags to add Profile properties to the web.config

o   Allow properties to be set as ReadOnly orAllowAnonymous

    o   Skinning/Themes Compliant

o   Creates an (User) Control that can be added to any web form that uses RadTabStrip, TabView and RadGrid to manage Users, Groups, Roles, etc. (A combination of RadControls like RadScheduler)

    ·         ProfileView

o   Basically a custom FormView that allows a user to manage their profile settings.

o   Respects ReadOnly/Allow Anonymous, and current user settings

    o   Skinning/Themes Compliant

    o   Allow for “Delete Account”

This type of product would give an edge to Telerik over their competitors as no one else offers this type of product.

What do other developers think?  Does the staff of Telerik have any comments?

Hope to see something in the near future.

    Hello bslaght,

Thank you for the suggestion - I will forward it to our development department to be considered further. If this appears to be a commonly requested product for managing user roles/membership, you may see it included in a future version of our controls bundle.

At this point you may consider the solutions posted by our MVP Mark McNeece in the following code library threads:

I hope that you will be able to reuse/modify them to 'plug' them in your particular project schema.

    Kind regards,
    the Telerik team
