I started a new ASP .NET website in VS 2010 and added a RadScriptManager to default.aspx. I set the validate option on the httphandler add to true and get this error.

If I change validate to false, I get AJAX errors (sys is undefined etc.).
If I change my target .NET framework to 4.0 the problem goes away. However, I am not prepared to migrate to .NET 4.0 right now. Can anyone help me figure out what is amiss?
I have reinstalled the 3.5 framework as well as the RadControls for AJAX (Q1 2010). I have also tried (Q2 2010) with the same results.

The error I get when running with validate=false on the HttpHandler entry is:
ASP.NET Ajax client-side framework failed to load.
Changing the EnableScriptCombine property on the RadScriptManager to false eliminates the error. But... my question is why am I getting the error when others in my group using the same configuration (VS 2010, .NET 3.5 and AJAX Rad Controls Q1 2010) are not.0

Please try registering the handlers using assembly name and type name:
The assembly should be deployed in the bin folder for this to work. I hope this helps.
