[Solved] Problem with Hierarchical Grid DetailTable rows selection(client side)

Hi All,

I have a grid with master table, and this grid have a detailed table. I enabled client side selection (EnableDragToSelectRows="true").
The problem is when I try to select detail table rows with draging It selects the rows withing the drag range along with mastertable rows that are below the expanded master table row ( eventhough they are not in drag range).

Please help me out with this scenario.

Hello Kalpesh,

Which version of RadGrid are you using? I tried the same scenario with the Q3 2009 version of RadGrid(2009.3.1103.20) but could not replicate your issue.

Hi Princy,

 Thanks for your reply. I am using 2007 version. I do not know the exact quarter but I will check it out with Q3 2009 version.

 Also I have one more thing. Even in the current grid demo if you try to multiselect in client selection, its not working with ctrl+single click. It selects only with ctrl+double click. And selection works only if you click on area containing cell text. If I click on any area wthout cell text if does not select.
