[Solved] Problem while inserting items in Radgrid- "insert item is available only when grid is in insert mode."

Hi,
When inserting a new record to radgrid i had an error "insert item is available only when grid is in insert mode."
But the updating the values works perfect. I need to fix this issue quickly.

Hi,

I am not quite sure about your issue. Try cancelling the event in InsertCommand handler as explained in this forum thread.
Please provide your code for more help.

The item command event is not called. when i click the insert button the error occurs.

I am afraid we are not able to replicate the issue locally. Can you reproduce this behavior with any of our demos?

Please provide us the exact steps to reproduce the issue or open a support ticket to send us a sample runnable application demonstrating the erratic behavior. Thus, we will be able to further analyze the problem and provide a proper solution.
