Hi,
i have a TreeView in of about 200-400 nodes in 4 differents levels, my problem is when i expend a node in Internet Explorer i have a delay of 0 to 5 seconds depending of how many nodes i have in that parent node.
I do the same thing in Firefox and i don't have that delay.
Someone can help or refer me to a thread that can help me please.
Thanks..

I found a thread where the same problem occur.

http://www.telerik.com/community/forums/aspnet/splitter/slidingpane-very-slow-to-expand-in-ie.aspx

but it doesn't really answer my question because, they more discussing of the SlidingPane/Splitter instead of the TreeView.

This might have something to do with the javascript engine of IE versus FF (somethingI know that definitely is a source of performance differences). I'm not sure if you've looked into this but perhaps using some load-on-demand can help alleviate some of the delay. Also, is the issue the same across all versions of IE (6-8)?

I downloaded ie8 and look like the delay is shorter but is still there, the longest delay i had was about 4-5 seconds, now it take about 2 seconds.
I'll take a look to Load-On-Demand and see what i can do.
Thanks you
