I noticed when you export a radgrid using ExcelML it saves it as type "Excel Worksheet".  For the sake of simplicity I will omit what I actually do with this exported file, but needless to say for my extended functionality to work I need the file to be a type of "Excel Workbook".  I can achieve this if I open up the exported "Excel Worksheet" and save it as type "Excel Workbook".  Is there a way to automatically save it as type "Excel Workbook" through the grid's functionality?

Thanks.

Hello Thomas,

Could you please provide more information? The output file, generated by the ExcelML engine is actually a workbook. Probably Excel recognizes the file as worksheet. As to the question - I'm afraid there is no way to save the file as other type automatically.
