Hi,

We are using Telerik version 2012.1.411.40. We have placed a RadEditor in one of our pages and found out that we cannot paste an directly directly onto RadEditor. After reading through some of the Telerik post we figured out that this issue is resolved in the newer version of Telerik dll's but the issue is that we cannot upgrade the telerik dll's at this moment as we are loosing the UI customization that we did.

Is there a way we can fix the issue of pasting images in RadEditor in older version of telerik i.e 2012.1.411.40?

Thanks
Varun

Hello Varun,

The ability to paste an image depends on browser functionality - i.e., whether the browser can take the image data and convert it to a base64 string. Firefox does this out of the box, and Chrome (after a certain version) offers a facility that we used in Q2 2013: http://blogs.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/posts/13-06-26/making-a-better-editor-experience-pasting-images-into-chrome. Thus, with the version you have, you can paste an image in Firefox, and for the other browsers the Image Manager dialog is the alternative: http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/editor/examples/filemanagers/defaultcs.aspx.
