I can't paste or cut in the Design view of an Editor Control when I'm using Firefox anymore, this func worked before but not after upgrading to Q1.

When using the keyboard to press CTRL+V or CTRL+X I get a javascipt alert telling me to use CTRL+V even though I am using CTR+V. I read on other forum posts that this has been an issue when pressing a toolbar button but I am seeing the behavior when using the keyboard directly. In Internet Exporer when using the keyboard to paste I'm getting a warning each time.

Is there a workaround to get pasting to work in Firefox at all (with the editor in design view). Right now I'm unable to do this at all. If I switch over to HTML view I can paste but not in design view. I set clipboard.autocopy to true in my Firefox preferences not really knowing what that does exactly and restarted but it didn't help.

Thanks,

bd

Hi,

If you are unable to paste content using Ctrl+V in Firefox, please download either latest Q1 2009 SP2  build or again the Q1 2009 SP1 build (there was a silent update).

The problem was fixed 2 days after the SP1 release and we made a silent update. We posted a sticky note in the editor forums and notified the users about the problem, that it is fixed and that the fix was integrated in the actual SP1. The problem does not exist in the new SP2 release (version 2009.1.527) too.

Here is the link to the forum post: Paste PlainText using Ctrl+V in IE7 and FF. I removed it sticky note status because the problem is rarely reported.
