Contrary to what your demo says, the Paragraph Styles dropdown does not insert classes or inline styles that are defined
In this demo, http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/editor/examples/formatblock/defaultcs.aspx, insert an 'H5 with an inline style' or an 'H6 with a class.' The H5 or H6 is inserted, but no style or class.
It makes this feature pretty redundant don't you think? Worthy of a demo? I think not.

Hi Matt,
I was unable to reproduce the reported problem. Could you please see my test in the following video http://screencast.com/t/MGY0ZjI2 and let me know if I am missing something?

Hi Rumen
Right, so for classes and inline styles to work you have to actually select a block of text. I never do that.
So the bug exists, just in a different state. If you just put the cursor in to content and choose a Paragraph style with a class, it will only change the tag as required, but not add the class. That's a bug.
And another bug exists too. If you choose a Paragraph style with a class, and then change that tag to a Paragraph style without a class, the tag changes, but the class persists. It shouldn't.
As far as the user is concerned, what you see is not what you get. And for a WYSIWYG editor, that's a shortcoming.

Hello Matt,
Indeed, if you put the cursor in to content and choose a Paragraph style with a class, it will only change the tag as required, but not add the class. I verified this problem, logged it fox fixing in our PITS system and we will do our best to solve it. I also updated your Telerik points for your bug report.
Here you can find the PITS Issue: Public URL.
The second behavior is by design and for the time being we do not plan to remove the class attribute.
Best regards,
Rumen

This is a follow-up, Matt.
The problem was fixed internally and it will not exist in the next major Q2 2010 SP2 release. Today, we release Q2 2010 SP1 and it is not possible to include the fix in this build.
The problem could not be resolved with custom code in the current build and in Q2 2010 SP1.
