[Solved] PageRequestManagerParserErrorException

Hi All,

We are preparing an application for parts lookup. We are using telerik rad ASP.NET AJAX Q1 Controls in our application.

Whenever the postback is happening, i am getting the below mentioned error. This is not happening everytime, its coming at times and the whole functionality of application is getting disturbed.

Please help me to solve this error.

Error: Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManagerParserErrorException: The message received from the server could not be parsed. Common causes for this error are when the response is modified by calls to Response.Write(), response filters, HttpModules, or server trace is enabled.

Details: Error parsing near 'Telerik.Web.UI 2009.'.

Additionally, can you please make sure that you are using the latest version of Telerik.Web.UI?
If this information is not enough to resolve the problem, it would be great if you could provide us with details about your scenario and when does the error appear.

Hi Pavlina,

I am using latest version of Telerik controls and even looked those two urls that you have mentioned, but i could not find the solution.

For your information...

We are developing an auto parts lookup application.

In this, we are using Rad Combo boxes to allow the user to select the catalog, brand, make type, model, etc... values. Based on the selected value of one combo box, controls will be built dynamically. Data in other combo boxes will be updated and the values corresponding the combo1 selected value, would be displayed in combo2. When the user selects the values from these combo boxes and click on submit, records corresponding to the selected values would be displayed in the RadGrid. 

The functionality is working fine, but we are getting this "PageRequestManagerParserErrorException" unexpectedly at times...

Could you please help me to solve this error.

Hi Kiran,

Does this issue happen when the trial message is displayed? We are aware of this problem but unfortunately we were not able to discover a suitable workaround for this unwanted issue. If this is the case, The problem should not surface with the dev version of the control.
