Page cannot be found and VS errors

Hi All

We are using the most recent release of the Telerik AJAX kit (2012.2.912.35).

All of our pages have a RadMenu contained on our master page.

Recently (before the upgrade to the new tool kit), we noticed that when the mouse hovers over the RadMenu and the drop down forms, for a brief moment a "Page cannot be displayed" message, then the menu loads into the frame. This is literally for a fraction of a second and is only noticeable if your looking.

This behaviour is not present if animations are turned off.

I've also noticed that when debugging, the solution explorer is showing a few strange entries;

Script Documents > 
Windows Internet Explorer
> (8 x) dnserrordiagoff.htm
welcome.aspx
>eval code
>anonymous code
> (8x) errorPageStrings.js
> (8x) httpErrorPagesScripts.js

I cannot work out what the problem is... something must be missing somewhere.

Any thoughts?

Hello Shane,

Can you clarify the browser where you encounter this behavior? If this is the IE10, it is an issue that we are already aware of. It occurs due to the iframe that renders with the control and it also happens with other controls that render an iframe. The issue is already logged so that our developer can include it in the future improvements of our controls.

The iFrame issue was noticeable with IE10.



However, my development environment is VS2010 and IE9. This is where I am seeing the odd entries in the VS console while debugging which appear to be related.

Hi Shane,

I am not quite sure how to replicate the issue that you describe, therefore in order to help you in the most efficient way I would suggest that you open a support ticket and send me a very simplified runnable project that can be tested locally along with a video demonstrating the steps needed to replicate the issue (you could use Jing for instance).

This is no longer happening after upgrading to 2012.3.1016.35 today.
