I could not find where we use to make suggestions about new controls, but I would like to see plans for an Org Chart control.
I am currently using this one:

But it would be cool to see you guys develop one to go with your incredible suite. I have used the telerik controls since you guys started, but this would be a great edition.
If not, does anyone have a suggestion about other "Affordable" Org Chart controls?

Hello Bill,
Unfortunately, we cannot presently give you a timeframe for implementing this feature. Still, you are the first to request such functionality and the priority of this feature is very low.
However, I'd suggest you take a look at our RadTreeView for Silverlight that supports horizontal expanding and could be used as an organigram. We have a similar example that shows the approach - Lookless Layout Support.

I too would like to see Telerik release a Org Chart control.
I also am currently using the smartwebcontrol chart. I searched the web constantly before I "settled" on the smart web control. I use their chart in conjuction with the RadGrid and when the chart posts back I update the rad grid with new data. It is an ugly mixture and would much rather have a telerik org chart that would mesh much better with the other telerik controls I use.

I'm sure any org chart control Telerik released would control the market for such controls.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. As Paul noted, we do not have immediate plans for org charts but we do take into account the demand rate for a given feature, so we will consider this when discussing our plans. Still, I believe you will understand we cannot engage with any specific terms and/or commitment.

I supposed I jumped into this late, but I just spent an hour perusing the web for an org chart component, and the best thing out there is ILog (which is primarily Flex) and it's $700 (ouch). I would sign any petition to see an org chart component in the Telerik suite.

Org and other diagrams are part from specialized controls f.e. mindfusion netdiagram. Its no problem to combine this controls with telerik controls in websites or applications. And a solution is immediately possible ....

Yes and organogram structure control will be totally cool though I believe it would be especially difficult to code, also what mite be worth looking into is extending this control to draw mindmaps.
I find it to be a very nifty feature lets say the case where teams of developers or marketers need to get together and draw up a rapid action plan to achieve a goal and need to display it visually in real time for everyone to view, with a mix of axaj and such a component it will be a breeze.

Without any real silverlight org chart controls out there, this could get you a whole new market.
Plus I could get a ton of new dashboard/automation projects. =)

I think the new RadSiteMap would be a better candidate as the closest control to achieve this.
