Open 2 version telerik

I did install 2 major version telerik Q2 2012 and Q2 2013.

How do open 2 project in 2 Visual Studio 2012 IDEs, that one VS IDE load other version major telerik?

I tried but two VS IDEs load only one version telerik Q2 2012 or Q2 2013.

Hi Paul,

As a general rule one VS project can reference only RadControl's .DLL files that are of the same version. If you want, however, to change the RadControls version of a particular project you can:

• Either done this automatically through the Upgrade Wizard by following the steps provided in this help article.
• OR manually by following the six easy steps provided in this blog post.

I opened VS 2013 (Ran Project .NET 4.5 and telerik Q3 2013) and VS 2012 (Ran Project 4.0 and Q2 2012 2012.1.411.40).

VS 2013 loaded toolbox of Q3 2013. But VS 2012 don't load toolbox Q2 2012, that loaded Q3 2013.

Help me solve problem

Hello Paul,

You can use the Toolbox configurator, that the Telerik WebUI VSExtensions provide, to set the needed version into the toolbox. You can find the configurator under Telerik | RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX | Launch Toolbox Configurator form the Visual Studio main menu.

I tried run Telerik | RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX | Launch Toolbox Configurator form the Visual Studio main menu. That it show toolbox of Q3 2013, I did delete Tab's Q3 2013 40, that it show Tab's Q3 2013 35, I did delete Tab's Q3 2013 35 and that it show Q2 2012 40

What's happened? Help me?

Hi Poul,

If I understand you correctly you'd like to have two versions of the controls in the Toolbox at the same time.

As the Toolbox configurator always set one version in the toolbox and remove the previous used I would suggest you adding the needed controls versions manually. You can follow the steps in this help article: http://www.telerik.com/help/aspnet-ajax/introduction-adding-to-vs-toolbox-net.html.
