Multiple Panels Docked?

Hi,

I am currently reviewing the Telerik control to be used in one of our applications. I am mainly interested in the Sliding panels functionality.

As far as I have seen the demos of sliding panels in the website, I noticed that only one panel can be docked at a time.  But in our application there is requirement where we need to dock two panels at a time showing them one beside the other.

So is it possible to achieve this anyway?

Any information on this will be greatly appreciated.

Hello Sandeep,

Your observation is correct - you can have only one RadSlidingPane docked at a certain moment in a single RadSlizdingZone. However, you can put more than one RadPanes containng RadSlidingZones with RadSlidingPanes - in this manner you will be able to have more than one RadSlidingPanes docked.

Hello Sandeep,

I am not sure about the exact layout you want to achieve - I attached a sample page which has two different RadSlidingZones with a RadSlidingPane in each of them and as a result you can have both the RadSlidingPanes docked one next to the other one. You can style the page further , e.g remove borders, use colors in order to make it more similar to your initial requirement but this is the closest solution we can offer since in a single RadSlidingZone, only a single RadSlidingPane can be docked at a time.

I hope that the provided suggestion will be helpful and even with some design changes in your layout it will be close to your requirements.
