I've noticed that when moving the mouse over the radtree, there are repeated fetches of the node images. Since my node images are static once populated, is there some way to disable this behaviour and hence save on network traffic and round-trips ??

Hi Daron,
I can't seem to reproduce this behavior on our online examples. I have tested both internet explorer and FireFox. Please provide some additional details about your setup - browser, is caching enabled, are you using the visual studio web server, is your site deployed in debug mode. Thanks.
