Does anyone know, I'm converting from the old ASP.NET controls to the AJAX controls.  I used the Monochrome skin in my web pages.  Is there an equivalent skin I can convert to in the AJAX controls?  Thanks.

Hi Dan,

The Default skin in our ASP.NET AJAX suite is the one that covers to some extent the Monochrome Skin for our ASP.NET controls.

If you find it not so suitable for your pages, you can try and create your own custom skin using our Visual Style Builder located at http://stylebuilder.telerik.com/.

Should you need any further assistance, please post a support ticket and we will do our best to help you.

Best wishes,

Thanks for the reply.  I decided to use the Simple skin in place of Monochrome.  Then, in my code I override certain skin properties.  This now gives me the "look" that I had before.

I did try the Visual Style Builder to generate a custom skin.  This helped me to get around a problem that I was having with overriding the grid header background color.  The custom skin showed me the DIV.RadGrid_Simple css items that I needed to overide in order to get my color to show up right.
