[Solved] Microsoft narrator do not work for radgrid bound columns

Hi,

We want to implement the screen reader functionality in our site.
We have enabled the keyboardnavigation and accessibility features of Telerik for same. However, microsoft narrator do not work for grid bound columns, also tab indexes are not working for grid bound columns.

We are using "2011.1.519.35" version of telrik controls.

Let us know the solution to fix the above issue asap.

Hi,

 Tabbing does not allow focusing separate parts of the grid, since it is an HTML table and focusing only a certain part of it (e.g. header, row, etc.) cannot be done in the browser. Still the grid has a lot of accessibility improvements in the latest version of the control (2013.2.717): including full Section 508 compliance, WCGA 2.0 Level AA and WAI-ARIA support. You can enable and customize these features separately to see if it improves screen readability in your case.
