Hi
I am using Media mangager and flash manager in Rad Editor for MOSS (Rad Version 2010.2.826.35 ). this is behaving differently in different browsers.
Is there any documentation on the browser/OS support for the Media / flash manager?

Hi,
Only the rich text editing of Internet Explorer can play object tags in an editable DIV / IFRAME elements and for this reason you can play videos and flash elements in RadEditor in IE only. Firefox and the other browsers cannot play embed tags and to visualize the position of the inserted flash | media object, we replace the embed tag with an image. Once the content is displayed outside the editor, you will be able to see and play the flash and media movies.

Thank you for your response.
Our issue is not when the RAD Edit control is in edit mode. But on view mode.
When we are opening the page in Mac OS, Media files do not display at all and flash files do not display any controls to play the same.
The attached screenshot shows the flash manager and media manger as seen from a Mac machine.

Hello,
In order to play flash videos SWF files in the browsers running on Mac OS, you need to install the Adobe Flash Player plug-in. You can see that the flash is played on my end: http://screencast.com/t/L4Se9KwBKp0.
The same is valid for the WMV videos. You need to find and install a browser plug-in that could play this type of video format. My suggestion is to install Windows Media Components as shown in the video, which should fix the problem: http://screencast.com/t/Z4qhyegS.
Note that the browser plugins do not have nothing to do with RadEditor and for this reason we do not have a chart with platform support for Flash and Media files.
