This is just a comment in general frustration, I recently discovered that even though I am on the latest version in my application I am still restricted from using a "local" MCP for Telerik because I have a perpetual license instead of the subscription license.  Look, I get it; you want people on a subscription to make more money and likely to ensure they are on the latest version for the MCP.  But just because I am not on a "subscription"; does not mean I am not on the latest version.  We are still a paying customer, and it is not like you are maintaining a hosted service, it should not be costing you anything in AI Credits.

Hello Rick,

I am sorry about the licensing misunderstanding and disappointment. Subscription licenses reflect a new commonly adopted practice in the software industry. We realize this can be a notable change for some existing customers and thus we have added multiple extras to our Subscription licenses, which the old Perpetual licenses did not have.

I'm going to disagree with you here. Having a subscription is one thing but deeming any existing perpetual licenses incompatible without terminating and subscribing is not a "new commonly adopted practice in the software industry".
