Hi All,

I want to know the maximum no of records a rad dropdown can populate or volume of data it can handle.

In my application there are lakhs of records which are being populated at the page load event in the dropdown. because of which application hangs up .

Please suggest any solution & better way to populate laks of records in the dropdown.

Thanks in Advance
Rahul

Hi Rahul Singh,

The limit in the example is not the real limit which RadComboBox can handle.

Still, you need to test which is the optimal number in your case. For instance, you can try loading 10,000 Items and start decreasing/increasing this number until you find an acceptable minimum/maximum.
