Thank you for contacting us.
In order to resolve the problem you encounter could you try adding the attached resource file in the CDN package under the following directory:
Telerik_UI_for_ASP.NET_AJAX_2016_1_113_CDN_Resources\Skins\ajaxz\2016.1.113\Common\fonts\material
Give this suggestion a try and let me know if it helps to take care of the error.

Pavlina,
Can you give more detailed instructions? I dont think I have that directory. Do I need to make it? Where do I make it?
Thanks
Hi Pavlina,
Is this issue seen as a black box on Chrome? I am seeing that the sort order icon on grids is not visible. IE doesn't show anything but Chrome renders a small black box. Interestingly the filter iconworks properly so whatever this is seems to only affect a few icons.
As with Jason I don't have the folder that you said. I put the file in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Telerik\UI for ASP.NET AJAX Q1 2016\Skins\Common\fonts\material folder but it didn't fix the issue so not sure if this is the same issue or not...

Jon
Jon,
I dont get the skin in any browser. I'm seeing this as a botched release of a new feature at this point.
Attached is a pic of a toolbar and grid I have set to use Material, no CSS whatsoever. Also attached is a pic of the fail as seen by Chrom Dev Tools
Hi Jason,
Ouch yeah that's not great. My issue is different then as the skin works fine except for that one issue.
I presume that you tried all the normal stuff like cleaning solution, test on new solution and reinstall after a full uninstall with manual removal of remaining files?
Hope you get it working as the skin really is easy to work with - hardly any sprites to contend with and it looks great.
Cheers
Jon
Jon,
I take back my last remark. I tested on a new project and it does work there so it must be something with my existing project and I don't think a full uninstall/reinstall is needed now. Any ideas on where to look?
Hi Jason,
Sorry not really sure - I assume you migrated with the VS wizard? Maybe someone from Telerik will be able to help now that you know the install isn't broken.
Cheers
Jon
Jon,
Yes I did use the migration wiz, twice. I even cleared out Telerik from my project and did a conversion back again. I'm gonna abandon Material skin for now as it was just a trial to see it in action on my current pages and nothing else seems to be broken.
Thanks for your help!
Jason
Hello,
Did you try to upgrade your project manually based on the instructions in the following article? If not try following the steps provided there and let us know if you are still unable to use the new Material skin.

Hi again Pavlina,
I just tried this again paying close attention to instructions in case I missed a step, but after reinstalling manually Material Skin still does not work.
At this point I would ask you isolate the issue in a sample runnable project and send it to us so we can investigate the case further. Otherwise it would be difficult to say why Material skin is not working on your end.
