[Solved] Local copy required in bin, even if in GAC

Hello,

In some, but not all projects, I have to place a copy of the telerik dll in the bin folder, even though the dll is installed in the Gac.

THis is true both on my dev server and live server.

If the dll is not in the bin I get an error page saying the dll cannot be found.


Any idea why this happens?

I believe the assemblies are needed in the bin folder no matter what, I haven't heard of an alternative.
