Hi Telerik,

This feature doesn't seem to exist implicitly, but I was wondering if there was a way to achieve this? I really like the feel of live resize and I was hoping to apply it to a RadSlidingPane inside of a click-to-open RadSlidingZone. Is this possible?

Thanks

Sean

Hello Sean,

Implementing the live-resize for the RadSlidingPane requires extensive changes. The code resembles a lot the code for the live-resize of the RadPane. It is very likely that we will include it as a feature in the next release. Until then you can incorporate the workaround provided with the attached sample page. Of course, this solution is not very extensible, but wrapping it in a class will make it more reusable.

Hope this helps.

Hey Telerik,

I was just wondering if there were still plans to include this in a future release. I haven't seen it show up in any internal builds, but as its a hefty bit of javascript it would be awesome to have it built in! :) No rush though.

Hello Sean,

Unfortunately, due to time restrictions this feature will not make it in the suite for the Beta release. Still we will see if we will be able to do it until the official release, however I cannot give you a firm answer on that yet. This is a great and useful feature and we will do our best to have it built-in.
