Hello
As the titles says ItemsRequested doesn't trigger on RadComboBox when something is pasted inside it in IE8.
This can be easily replicated using your own demos: http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/combobox/examples/default/defaultcs.aspx
Regards
Mihai

Hello Mihai,
As far as I know this is the expected behavior. The ItemRequested event occurs when the user types text into the input field or clicks on the drop-down toggle image .
Hope it is clear.
Thanks,
Shinu.

Hi
This is not the expected behavior. In IE7, IE9, Chrome and Firefox items are filtered down correctly when something is pasted inside the box.
IE8 is the only browser having this issue and I would really like a fix for this.

Mihai

Hello Mihai,
This is an annoying bug in IE8 which our developers managed to workaround it in 98% of the cases.
Actually it happens only the first time when you paste the text in the combobox input. If you delete it and paste it again - the ItemsRequested event fires.
The original bug was that the first keypress was not fired.

I, too, am running into this - a user base that is still on IE8, and habitually pastes into the RadComboBox with the mouse. ItemsRequested does not get called with this usage in IE8 - but it does in every other browser version I have tested.
has this issue been addressed yet? are there plans for a fix?
