Hi,

I have 2013.3.1324.35 version of your UI controls. Navigation does not work for both RadTree and RadTabStrip on IPad with Safari. It works fine on desktop browsers. Please, provide hot fix.

I am not planning to upgrade to recent releases as your controls have very poor support for mobile platforms and are full of bugs when using them on IPad. Each release introduces new bugs on IPad.

Hi,

I am afraid that the issues described are not reproducible on my side with the version specified. Both controls navigate as expected, using iOS 8 and iOS 7 Safari.

I would like to inform you that there is a general ASP.NET AJAX Extensions issue, concerning the new iOS 8 and OS X Safari versions. It is affecting sites using ASP.NET 3.5. Basically, the new Safari version is not properly recognized by the AJAX framework as a browser that supports partial rendering, which breaks the AJAX technology. This may be a probable cause for the issues faced.

In order to fix this general issue, you need to edit your browser definition files so that the latest Safari is properly recognized. You can find more detailed information about the issue as well as a workaround for it in the following stackoverflow thread.

If your issue is connected with using custom browser capability feature, i.e. if you have .browser file in your \App_Browsers folder, this tip would help you solve the issue faced.

And last, but not least, as far as Telerik UI for ASP.NET AJAX support for mobile browsers is concerned, you could test the latest version of our mobile demos. Compared to version Q3 2013 SP2, our latest version Q1 2015 provides new controls as well as a greater number of lightweight controls with elastic, responsive and adaptive capabilities.
