Bootstrap is always become more popular, not just as a flexible grid system, but for skinning as well. There are zounds of sites with both free and priced Bootstrap skins.

The RadControls are compatible with the Bootstrap framework. Also, about their themes you can log this in our Feedback Portal, the place for bugs, ideas, suggestions etc. There is a voting system and we do take into consideration the voting there when implementing a feature or fixing a bug.
All the best,

I guess that option to have a "straight" mapping of the rad controls to the bootstrap default classes so to be able to take advantage of bootstrap themes would be a great addition.

@Massimiliano - did you file a product suggestion for this? Is it something publicly-available where I could "vote" for it?

It has received many votes also.. I don't know how this could be "technically" possible for Telerik guys but the feature request is there ;)

You have said that the Telerik controls are compatible with bootstrap, but I don't really think so.
Because my interest in bootstrap is not so much in the styling (colors, fonts etc.) but in the responsive layout. What I need to do this year is move my projects forward to VS 2013 and begin making my master project templates work well on tablets, and that means using bootstrap.
A good example of what I need is this: http://startbootstrap.com/templates/sb-admin/
If you open that page and start making the browser window narrower, you will eventually see the left nav bar and top nav disappear and be replaced by the menu button that we come to expect on mobile browsers. What I would need to see is the RadMenu and Rad Panel be able to do that on a page. While those controls may not break the bootstrap template, I don't think you can claim fully compatible until they can do that sort of responsiveness.
If we could just get there by assigning the appropriate bootstrap CSS classes that would be great. If so, an example would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
Some of the responsive capabilities of the Bootstrap powered menu will be available in the RadMenu with the release of 2014 Q1.
You won't be able to do the exact same thing, but it's a step in the right direction.
