I'm trying to install the latest Telerik for ASP.Net on my Vista x64 dev system, and it gets to the point where it is at the "Installing Files" step and the progress bar is all the way to the right.  At that point, it simply hangs.  I've attached a screenshot of the install.  I have been sitting here for over an hour, and it doesn't appear to be doing anything.  The task manager does not show it as "Not Responding" so it would appear to be doing something but it's not.  Any advice?  This is my second attempt.

It could be something with your Visual Studio installation. It may sound silly but I would suggest trying a system restore to a time before you tried the first install - perhaps something happened with VS and now the second attempt is running into an issue since the first one did. I had problems with VS before (not with Telerik controls) and this fixed it for me.

Well, I figured it out.  It was Symantec Endpoint Protection.  I disabled it, and it fired right up and finished.  It took awhile b/c it is managed from a corporate server, and so I had to get someone to allow me to disable it temporarily.

FYI for those out there with this issue...

I had the same problem.  I had to stop all McAfee related processes.  Once I did, the install continued.
