I just purchased RadControls_for_ASP.NET_AJAX_2010_1_309 but I have an older trial version (RadControls_for_ASP.NET_AJAX Q1 2009) installed on my computer.
Any "best practices" for overwriting the old with the new?
Thanks

Hi Joshua,
If you want to update your project to use the latest RadControls version, I suggest the following steps:

If you want to update your project to use the latest RadControls version, I suggest the following steps:
- run the new installer and get both versions installed together
- Start your projects in Visual Studio and use the Telerik -> RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX -> Upgrade Wizard to update the projects to use the newest RadControls. Check the projects for any errors caused by API changes (though we strive to minimize API changes, sometimes we need to introduce such);
- Once everything is fine, uninstall the old trial version.

*How* exactly does one uninstall the old trial version?
I have searched your documentation/support area & have found no instructions for doing so. Can you help?
Thanks in advance,
-Brendan

Oh, um, yeah. Forgot about that :-:(
I've been using Macs as my personal computer for so long; I've obviously forgotten some of the Windows basics...
Thanks!
