Hello all:

I have a rather complex ASP.NET web site that I built using several Telerik components from an earlier release (I do not have the version in front of me right now). I want to install the latest version of the toolkit as I need some of the functionality (like ExportToPdf )the new version provides, but I am wondering how this will affect the web site built with the older version? Will the install just overwrite the older toolkit with the new files, and then the website will sue the new components?

Thanks for any and all input.

John.

I think this article can shed some light on the matter - http://www.telerik.com/help/aspnet-ajax/installupgrading.html. Yes, I know it says 'upgrade from trial to dev', but the process is identical when you make an upgrade from an older version. And don't forget to check the "Changes and backwards compatibility' for each particular control from the suite that you use in your application.

Cheers,
Poul
