If you create an imagemap area in IE, it is transparent. If you do it in Safari, Firefox or Chrome it is not. Can you please fix this in the next version? Is it possible for me to fix this with a custom javascript?

Testet on demo http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/editor/examples/default/defaultcs.aspx with Firefox 3.6

Hello Eirik,

I tried to reproduce the reported problem but without success. For your convenience I have attached a video demonstrating my test. Am I missing something?

The video was archived with RAR compression because of its huge size. You can extract it using the free 7-zip or the trial WinRar tools.

You are reproducing it in this video. The problem is that the preview of the imagemap area has no opacity when you are drawing in Firefox and Safari. When you are testing in IE you can see that the preview of the imagemap area has a 50% opacity when you are drawing it. This makes it much easier too draw multiple areas on an image.

Hi Eirik,

Thank you for specifying that you talk about the Preview area in the Image Map manager. I confirm the difference and logged it in our PITS system for enhancement. If it is possible we will implement the transparency in the Preview area in Firefox and Safari.

I updated your Telerik points for your feedback!

Kind regards,
