Hi,
I have used RADEditor context menu functionality. I have provided some text and right click on RADEditor control, it shows IE popup menu and my context menu in background of IE menu. It behaves like normal asp.net extbox. I dont want to display IE popup menu in the control. How to implement this functionality?

Hi,

Could you please provide sample code / project and a screenshot demonstrating the problem? If possible provide a live URL to the problematic page. Once I am able to reproduce the problem I will be able to provide a solution.

Best regards,

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I have developed the sample project and tried, IE popup not displayed over telerik context menu. But in my sharepoint project, in RADEditor  control, if i right click on RADEditor control, it is showing the IE popup like Cut, Copy, Paste menu. So the user not able to perform RADEditor context menu. Note: I didnt face any issue on IE8 and previous versions, i faced the issue only on IE9. What could be the issue ?. Is it possible to attach some event in js: OnClientLoad to disable IE popup menu and also it shouldnt restrict RADEditor custom menu action.

Hi,

I got the below error, when i rightclicked on RADEditor Control,

"Microsoft JScript runtime error: Unable to get value of the property 'set_activePopup': object is null or undefined".

After getting this error, the IE popup came infront of RADEDitor popup.

Hello,

Which version of RadEditor for SharePoint do you use in your SharePoint site and under which scenario? My suggestion is to upgrade to the latest one 6.3.1 and try to reproduce the problem again. We will also release next week version 6.4 and you can test it once it becomes official.

If you are using the standard RadEditor for ASP.NET AJAX in SharePoint 2010, than our recommendation is to migrate to the especially designed for SharePoint usage RadEditor for SharePoint 2010.

If the problem still persists, zip the Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\wpresources\RadEditorSharePoint folder and send it for examination along with the web.config file of your SharePoint site. You can use the support ticketing system to attach zipped files.
