Greetings.

We just a number of issues concerning using the scheduler in IE 6 as well as firefox 2.0
I'm wondering if these browsers are even supported at all?

There are issues rendering the calendar month view in IE where the day cells are not rendered properly until you switch views or force a refresh by changing the month.

Fireforx 2.0 also doesn't seem to want to render the start and end date controls and much of the css formatting of the recurrence panel is not good at all really.

Is there anything we can do to support these browsers?

thanks

...also has anyone noted any performance issues in IE 7?

comapred to firefox 3.5, IE 7 seems really slow when the scheduler control is included on the page.

cheers

Hello,

We definitely do our best to support IE6 and Firefox 2.0. Are the problems you are experiencing reproducible on our online demos? Both problems sound like styling issues and the rest of the HTML/CSS on the page could be affecting the Scheduler.

As for IE7 being slower FF3.5 - most benchmarks can confirm this and since the Scheduler is kind of a large control with lots of functions, HTML, etc. it can make the difference in speed between the two browsers quite obvious.

I'll have to double check the IE6 stuff again when I get an issue.
I'm supposedly usign the styles out of the box.
I'm also getting some table cell null errors in IE 6 as well... From what I can tell no one else is having those issues.

Anyway,
Have you tested the scheduler for performance inside a tab as well?
WHen I get some time I'll be trying to determine if putting a schedule in a tab control might slow things down in IE 7...

ah good times
