How to show an alert if no row is selcted client side on button click?..

Hey everyone,

I have a radgrid in which i have used external buttons for edit and delete.I have enabled client-side row selection.How can i show an alert on edit and delete buttons click if no row is selected on client side?....

Check for the selectedtems count with the help of 'get_selectedItems()' method and show the alert accordingly.

Sample code:

    function selectedItems() {
        var MasterTable = $find("<%=RadGrid1.ClientID%>").get_masterTableView();
        var selectedItemsCount = MasterTable.get_selectedItems().length;
        if (selectedItemsCount == 0) {
            alert("Select at least one item!");
            return false;
        }
    }
</script>
