[Solved] How to Restrict Edit Modes in a Radgrid

Hi Folks,

Can anyone tell me how can i restrict all the modes of Edit on a Radgrid.

As i have separate piece of code to be executed on the click of Edit.

Hello Satya,

You can use the following code snippet in order to prevent showing EditForm and use your code for edit button click.

CS:

    protected void RadGrid1_ItemCommand(object source, GridCommandEventArgs e)
    {
        if (e.CommandName == RadGrid.EditCommandName)
        {
            e.Canceled = true; // Cancel the Edit event
        }
        // Your code goes here
    }
