Dear Sir/Madam,

I made a VERY BIG mistake. You see, I needed a net decompiler and stupid google suggested your damned site. A free decompiler, you say? - OK, i need it. I should reconsider as soon as I was asked to download a TRIAL of something (trial of free... hm), or when I saw the first screen of the installer and found out it will install some shitty control panel and other components I will never need. I should turn my back at this point and run away, but NO, I've installed it on my PC (sob). I really made VERY BIG mistake.

And now, I can not remove it! It is written by fucked dilletants and does not have even an uninstaller! So, please, burn in hell you damned bastards!

Hi Makumba,

Thank you for contacting us. I am terribly sorry to hear you are frustrated with our installation experience.

Going straight to your question about uninstalling our Control Panel - it is true the trial installer does not support removing product installations, but all of our products (including the Telerik Control Panel) support uninstalls through the standard windows workflow (Control Panel -> Uninstall a program (Windows 7) or Add/Remove Programs (Windows XP)).

I will try to address your concerns, hoping that will remove some of your frustration.

JustDecompile is indeed free and our plans are for it to remain free in the foreseeable future. We have taken note on your feedback and will look into making that part clearer in the installer. You can opt out of installing the rest of our products while installing JustDecompile, as JustDecompile is not dependent on any of them in any way.

The main reasons for JustDecompile being packaged as it is (in the Telerik Trial Installer) are:
1. That allows us to have a single point of install for all of our trial and free developer tools, so new users do not have to roam through our website, looking for files and installing products they might need one by one
2. Users having a familiar experience regardless which product they use

Regarding installing the Control Panel when installing any of our products:
1. It is the easiest way of keeping all of your installed Telerik products up-to-date
2. It practically adds no strain to your computer's resources - it does not install any background processes or continuously running services
3. Compared to our trial installer, it provides more advanced installation options (like uninstall)

Let me know if that helps.

Regards,
Andrey
