Hi, is there any documentation about how to migrate existing solutions (using the "classic" RadControls for ASP.NET) to the prometheus controls?

E.g. is it possible to use both versions of the controls in the same solution, and then update one page after the other? Or will I have to update the solution at once?

Thanks for any info.

Hi Martin,

I suggest you review this section our site explaining what is "Prometheus":

http://www.telerik.com/products/aspnet-prometheus/what-is-radcontrols-prometheus.aspx

along with the resources related to Frequently asked questions and RadAjax for ASP.NET versus RadAjax "Prometheus":

http://www.telerik.com/products/aspnet-prometheus/faq.aspx

http://www.telerik.com/products/aspnet-prometheus/controls/ajax/RadAjax-aspnet-vs-RadAjax-prometheus.aspx

They contain the all the information you need to migrate to our Prometheus suite. I hope these directions are helpful.

Thanks a lot!

Essentially, this is the information I was looking for:
Please, note, that RadControls for ASP.NET and the new “Prometheus” controls can easily coexist so feel free to mix and integrate them as you please. This allows you also to use some of the new controls that are only present in “Prometheus” in existing applications.
Best regards,
Martin
