What you want to achieve cannot be done out of the box. In order to get the desired result you should write your own CSS which customizes the panes to look as you desire. In order to do this you can use the CSSClass property of each RadSlidingPane along with the TabView and IconUrl properties or to create your own custom skin which controls the visual appearance.
