Hi,

In Radeditor when we delete some content the <del> tag is generated letter by letter. So I want to generate <del> tag word by word. How this can I do. Please guide me asap. Thanks

Hi Rameez,

The reported behavior in the screenshot is not built-in as you can see in the attached video. Can you please provide steps on how to reproduce the at the live demo: Track Changes?

You might also need to upgrade your Telerik.Web.UI.dll to the latest version R1 2020 SP1 where this problem might be fixed.

Hello

I hope you are doing well. Thanks for the reply.

I m using this telerik.web.ui 2019.3.1023.45 dll version. Please let me know if there is any setting to the generate <del> tag for the whole word. And as you suggest for the new respective dll version to resolve this problem. Kindly please provide me the document for that so can I will share it with my seniors. Also attach the live scenario image for your reference

I am good! Thank you Rameez.

Thank you for the screenshots you provided! They clearly show that something unexpected is happening on your side, but I am not aware of this problem and also unable to reproduce it.

RadEditor does not offer any API or properties for controlling the delete behavior in track changes mode.

That's why I asked you to test the live demo to tell me whether the problem is reproducible - Track Changes. Please test and let me know for the result.

Hi,

Can you please provide me a video taken from https://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/editor/examples/trackchanges/defaultcs.aspx so that I can see how to reproduce it?

For your convenience, I have attached a clip showing my test. Am I missing something? The same happens in the latest versions of Chrome and Firefox.

Please also provide your test content since the issue could be due to the content.
