The "Visual Style Builder Info" sticky on this thread states that I can create a style with the stylebuilder site (which I did) then download the zip file and

    "Simply add the files from this archive to your project, and your custom skin is ready go
"

However, I am having a hard time figuring out how to do this exactly. I'm using Visual Studio 2010 and it isn't as simple as adding the CSS files from the archive and linking to them, I tried that. What am I missing?

Hello.

Actually, that's about it when it comes to adding a StyleBuilder generated skin:
1) create a directory, usually called styles in the root of your project;
2) create a directory with the name of the skin e.g. MySkin
3) place all the files and directories in that folder
4) reference the styles from a (master) page.

Could you make a video recording of how you are adding the stylesheets? You can use Jing which is free and just paste the link in this post.

All the best,
