I am not sure I understand the exact requirement properly. Can you elaborate on the exact window allowing you to give names to controls? Are you referring the Properties window in Visual Studio on anything else?

Hello,
I am referring to the controls created in the editor control. Please see the attached, for radio buttons. The name panel pops right up. How do you get that for a text box?
It comes up for a textarea also but not a textbox?...
Why do you not get any answers here...? Anyways I submitted a ticket and this is the response. Really?? Why would you allow entering a name, etc on ALL the other form element types and not a simple text box. What is your workaround for this? We need this for our application and paid a LOT of money for your product.

Hi Stephanie,
This options is not supported for the textbox. In order to use the configuration settings please use the textarea element.
