Thanks for all your support.
I am encoutering a different issue. I have developed a new user control that is similar to "News.ascx" and " "RssReader.ascx" but it has a gridview and dropdownlist. I am having issues when I try to add this control to the page. I get the error "Failed to load viewstate. The control tree into which etc...." . If I disable the viewstate on Gridview and dropdownlist everything works perfect. Also, When I checked the "state" field in database table "pageWidget", the index and DockZoneID are wrong ie "Index":"-1","DockZoneID":"". Is this a known issue?
I zipped the source code but did not find a place to attach it.
Last week I convinced my boss that Radcontrols is the way to go for building a dynamic portal website. He is ready to buy licences if I can prototype a portal, Which is what I am trying to do quickly. I am running out of time since Wednesday is the deadline. If there a direct way of getting support rather than waiting till the next day?
