This is currently not planned as a new feature, however there is an already logged item for a similar feature in our User voice Portal our public feedback portal, so you can vote for it here in order to make it more popular:

As RadGantt is a server side wrapper of the Kendo UI Gantt widget, you can take a look at the Kendo Roadmap for the new release here:
