Is there a way to add Highlights and or Holidays to the Gantt control?

What is planned in the Roadmap for Gantt?

This is currently not planned as a new feature, however there is an already logged item for a similar feature in our User voice Portal our public feedback portal, so you can vote for it here in order to make it more popular:
