Simple question; Can I?
Specifically, can I group the TimelineView by custom attributes.
The attribute's don't represent resources, but rather different calendars. Imagine having a calendar for yourself and your partner and wanting to display them together.

Hello Stuart Hemming,
In theory there is a way how to do what you want and I am sending you a little demo, but it has some limitations.
I recommend you see this demo and use it instead:
http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/scheduler/examples/customattributes/defaultcs.aspx.
I am not sure why you need to group by custom attributes. Can you elaborate a bit?

Hi Plamen,
In our app, the data associated with an appointment includes a lot of additional data; associated calendars, appointment types, invitees, organisational info. This app is used my many, many different organisations all over the UK and there is a requirement to use the timeline view to display and group data.
None of this additional data really meets the requirements of being a 'resource' in the RadScheduler sense of the word but, where necessary, I can add that data as custom attributes to an appointment, hence the request.
Could you elaborate on the limitations of your sample solution for me please?

Hi Stuart Hemming,
We elaborated on this demo but it seems that this way of showing the appointments is good only in a readonly mood. We will continue researching and if we have some new ideas on this you will be
immediately informed.
